Pledge Manager going out today!

We want to extend a big thank you to all of you for being patient with us as we worked to get the Pledge Manager sent out!

We encountered a couple small issues during the smoke test and are getting them adjusted today. So, we will send the Pledge Manager out to everyone by the end of the day today, or tomorrow morning at the very latest!

Once the Pledge Manager is sent out to everyone, we will also post a Late Pledge link on the campaign page. So if you know anyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign, let them know they will be able to get in on a Late Pledge soon.

In other news...

Our newest Kickstarter is LIVE right now! We know that you all are already fans of designer  Yuri Zhuravljov  - who designed Viceroy, and Viceroy: Times of Darkness! This is a card-drafting, set collection game for 2-4 players for ages 8+. It's easy to learn and plays in 30-45 minutes! We think you will really enjoy this games. Players are given a variety of choices each turn, and the scoring for this game is truly fun & unique!

Pledge Manager Delay & Production Update

Whoops...

Hi everyone. We wanted to check in again, as we want to make sure we keep the lines of communication with you very open. 

There was an issue with Backerkit and we got to the bottom of the issue late last week. The issue has been resolved. The Backerkit folks were off work for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but they are back in the office today. We hope they will set the Pledge Manager live in the next day or so. It is our intention that all surveys go out by the end of the week!

Again, we are very sorry about the delay. 

The Good News...

We have received the factory proofs of both the Standard and the Kickstarter copies of the game! Everything looks great and we are moving forward with full production. We are ahead of schedule on this one and, at this rate, it looks like you will all receive your games before the original estimated fulfillment date!

Note: we will make sure the Stretch Goal additional cards ARE in both editions, even though they are not pictured in the Standard Edition. 

Pledge Manager Update

Hi everyone!

I wanted to check in with you all and let you know the status of the Pledge Manager, as we want to make sure we keep communication open. You all definitely deserve to be kept in the loop every step of the way. 

As we said in our last update, the Pledge Manager has been submitted for review. We have not yet gotten that approval. It is our assumption that the holidays set it behind. We followed up with them today, and it is our hope that it will get approved very soon. 

In other news, production is ahead of schedule! We received the proofs of the game, itself, from the factory and our team is reviewing it. We are waiting for pictures, and then a physical sample, of the Solo Die so we can approve it as well. 

As for that solo die, we will be going with another color as you all requested! As soon as we have pictures of the die, we will post an update for you all to see!

We hope you had very happy holidays and we will continue to keep you in the loop as things proceed.

Hi everyone! Many of you have been asking about the pledge manager. I THOUGHT I had posted an update, and I realized today that I had forgotten to publish it. I'm so sorry I have left you all in limbo!

As for the Pledge Manager, it's finished and in review. Once we have the go ahead, we will do a smoke test (where only a small number of people get it first, kind of like test subjects!). Once the smoke test is done, everyone else will also get their email. 

Thank you all for being so patient! 

With that said, here's some GREAT news. Production is ahead of schedule and we already have pictures of the samples of the game for proofing. Those samples are on the way to us now so that we can go through them with a fine tooth comb, that way we can catch any possible mistakes!

What does this mean? It means once we see the proofs, we will be able to approve the game to go into production. As things stand, we could see it go into production before Chinese New Year, which would put us ahead of schedule! 

We will keep you updated as things proceed.

Progress!

We know it hasn't been long and the fulfillment of this project isn't forecast until June of 2019, but we wanted to update all of you as to what is going on here behind the scenes.  We got our final backer list finalized from Kickstarter last week (2 weeks after the campaign end) and have been actively working on the final files for the factory.  In fact, we have already finished the files and sent them to the factory for review.  The next step is for the factory to send us final samples and for us to approve those.  Once that happens we can go to print and we hope to have everything done in December 2018.  IF that happens there is a chance the rewards could be ready by February and beat Chinese New Year, which would mean we could fulfill the campaign a few months early... but let's not get ahead of ourselves, there are still delays that can happen.  We are very optomistic about meeting our forecast and maybe beating it.  

We will be sending out post-campaign surveys in December or sooner to start to pull this together and so we can confirm to the factory how many of each version to make based on what YOU want for your rewards.  Please note we will be using Backerkit for the post-campaign survey.  They do a great job and we are happy to be using them for an 8th time now!
